Al-Farouq Aminu To Return For Sophomore Season.
Wake Forest Small Forward Al-Farouq Aminu is returning for his sophomore season yesterday, it was a relief for many Wake Forest Fans since James Johnson a rising junior declared for the NBA Draft. Aminu will try to do better than he did last year even though he had a great season averaging 12.9 points and 8.9 rebounds for the deamon deacons.
He said that he loved being at Wake Forest and wanted to come back because he thought he wasn't ready. Expect to be a contender unless Jeff Teague continues with the NBA Process but what it sounds like is that he just wants to see where he would go and unless he is a lottery pick which is unlikely he should return.
Next Year with the edition of a talented SF in Ari Stewart and two great PG's in C.J. Harris and Torgrim Sommerfeldt expect another 20 win season and maybe a ACC Championship.
